Max deskmod

Hello dudes,
If you are trying to use a msstyles or theme file but its getting the Windows 98 style, your UxTheme.dll is probabily not allowing the 3rd party content to be displayed.
To solve this problem, there are some UxTheme patchers on the web, I recommend using Uxtheme Multi-patcher 6.0, made by “Windows X”:

The installation is very easy, the instructions are displayed on the screen and it dont need any command line or mannualy file replacing.

Note: If you already have uxtheme.dll patched (being to use 3rd-party visual styles), you don’t need to update it with this application. If a theme file is getting errors or its not working, check if it is in Windows\Resources\Themes.

For using the themes and packs bellow, you need the modded UxTheme.dll .

Deskmundo.com is a very popular brazilian site about dekmodding, windows tips, news and etc… Vista Perfect Deskmod is, according to they, one of their best and big projects, it’s a pack for Windows Xp to look like Vista.

Knowed bugs:
*The pack do not display the blue, pink, yellow and SevenXp screenshots at the theme manager of Windows

Bug fixes:

I am developing the version 2.0 of the pack, it haves now 43mb, but I am making some modifications and adding/deleting files. The shell32 is hard to put in a pack, because it can change much things in your Windows, like the language, i am thinking about putting just icons for the theme, like My computer and My documents.

The new version is going to have 3 new themes: Sev7n Blue, Sev7n Pink and Sev7n Yellow and a more stiled installer. The Circle dock will not be executed togheter the themes, it will have a ShortCut in the Start menu.
